QRA Study

Scope of Work:

A detailed QRA model will be developed in accordance to international best practices and to ensure a consistent approach to the quantification of risk throughout the Project Life Cycle.

The QRA will collate the results for the safety studies to enable calculations of risk to personnel.

All assumptions made in the development of the QRA shall be agreed in writing before issue of Revision reports.

Results shall be presented as Potential Loss of Life for workers and Individual Risk Per Annum for a range of worker groups whilst on the Project.

The main objectives of the QRA are to:

• Determine the risk associated with the operation of the facility
• Determine whether the risks are tolerable
• Identify the major contributors to the overall risk
• Determine the key assumptions that affect the calculated level of risk
• Determine the effects on levels of risk by implementing recommendations
• Provide focus on input to the ALARP workshop
• Provide input into the ALARP cost benefit analysis

The proposal shall detail the following:

• An outline of the proposed methodology.
• Details of any software to be used including relevant licenses and verification.
• An allowance to run sensitivities to test design options and ALARP workshop recommendations

Deliverables

• QRA report including model
• Updated QRA model to assess sensitivities if required
